Visita della delegazione Ilia in Vaticano e Roma: il Papa, la Fondazione Magna Graecia e l'ambasciatore greco

Durante una visita speciale a Roma e al Vaticano, Ioannis Tsamichas e Spyros-Nikitas Tsamichas hanno avuto l'onore di far parte di una delegazione distinta che includeva il Vice Ministro della Protezione dei Cittadini della Grecia, Andreas Nikolakopoulos, i sindaci di Andravida-Kyllini e dell'Antica Olimpia, insieme a importanti rappresentanti regionali. Hanno avuto il privilegio di essere ricevuti da Sua Santità, Papa Francesco, segnando l'inizio di una forte partnership spirituale e politica tra il Patriarcato Ecumenico, la Chiesa Cattolica Romana e l'Ilia. The delegation also visited the Magna Graecia Foundation, where discussions centered on deepening the cultural and historical ties between Greece and Italy. The Foundation, known for its commitment to preserving and promoting the shared heritage of Magna Graecia, plays a vital role in fostering a modern Greek-Italian partnership. The meeting emphasized the mutual benefits of cooperation in tourism, education, and cultural exchange, further boosting bilateral relations.

Additionally, the delegation met with Greece’s Ambassador to Rome, Mrs. Eleni Sourani, to discuss matters of security and the importance of strengthening transnational cooperation between Greece and Italy. The focus was on building a robust framework for collaboration that would not only address contemporary challenges but also reinforce the longstanding friendship and shared values between the two nations.
